Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently and within a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking
• Meet state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge
