Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining the overall store appearance to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills) criteria for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining data security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Skills to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask professionally.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
