Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and issues for continuous improvement.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Proficiency in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent knowledge gained through education and experience.
