Job Description

As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store functions smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the shopping experience for customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
• Follow all company policies ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently and within a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
• Meet state and local alcohol handling requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
