Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a pivotal member of our staff, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean displays, and assist customers with shopping needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Assist with inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Follow company policies and procedures to safeguard confidentiality and security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Stock and arrange products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at varying heights.
• Engage in activities like bending, lifting, carrying, and walking around the store.
• Meet physical requirements with or without accommodation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe use of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Experience in retail operations is beneficial.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• High attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
