Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills while performing daily duties.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and procedures to prevent losses.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and other necessary equipment.
- Capable of operating equipment like electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
