Director Toxicology

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Director of Toxicology to join our innovative team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This role is pivotal in managing the global nonclinical regulatory and investigative toxicology of our product portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to the overall success of our drug development programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support direct reports in designing and conducting toxicology studies.
• Manage nonclinical studies at external CROs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review and analyze toxicology study reports, providing critical input for regulatory submissions.
• Contribute expertise to cross-functional teams and early development strategies.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Biochemistry, or Biology.
• 8-10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in drug development toxicology.
• Expertise in FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines, GLP regulations, and regulatory submissions.
• Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
