Executive Director, Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for an Executive Director to lead the Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations team. This role involves overseeing the execution and delivery of the Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline, requiring extensive solid tumor clinical development experience and a deep understanding of industry practices and standards. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team, manage budgets and timelines, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Direct all operational aspects of the late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
• Influence development team thinking to enable high-quality and feasible clinical trial protocols.
• Provide direction, mentorship, and leadership to staff for alignment with project goals.
• Partner with various departments to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology with 10 years in oncology.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Expertise in clinical operations, regulatory issues, and drug development.
• Business acumen and financial understanding.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Market competitive salary range: $256,000-$384,000.
• Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k plan, and flexible paid vacation.
