Job Description
We are looking for a talented Front Desk Supervisor to join the Hilton Garden Inn Greenbelt team on a full-time basis. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency at the front desk. You will lead a team of front desk staff, maintain guest satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and uphold high-quality service standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk team to ensure outstanding customer care and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Coordinate with reservation staff, use suggestive selling techniques to maximize revenue.
- Train and direct front desk processes, resolve issues, and maintain quality service.
- Handle billing, room allocations, group arrivals, and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
- Participate in setting yield management strategies, marketing programs, and other operational activities.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a Front Desk Representative or similar role.
- Supervisory experience in a hotel environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
Evaluation Criteria
Support Staff will be assessed based on work quality, attendance, guest relations, and compliance with hotel policies and standards.
Prerequisites
Previous front desk or cashier experience, supervision experience, and computer knowledge required. High ethical standards and adherence to the Shamin Hotels Code of Ethics are essential.
