Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the dynamic team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational action plans, and identifying training opportunities to support the growth of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest strategies to maintain the store's position.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for new hires.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, providing support to team members as needed.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying company policies.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Prior retail and management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
