Job Description
We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the dynamic team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational action plans, and identifying training opportunities to support the growth of the team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store performance.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and suggest strategies to maintain the store's position.
- Participate in the interviewing process for new hires.
- Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, providing support to team members as needed.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in interpreting and applying company policies.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Prior retail and management experience preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
