Full-Time Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join Aldi's team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in store management by overseeing day-to-day activities, optimizing store performance, managing schedules, and fostering team growth through training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members effectively.
• Identify training needs to improve team performance.
• Uphold company values to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
• Monitor the local competitive landscape and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
• Provide insights on product selection and inventory management.
• Participate in the recruitment and interview process.
• Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Maintain a clean store environment and proper stock levels.
• Merchandise products to drive sales and ensure product quality.
• Supervise daily operations and address issues as they arise.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to promote a secure work environment.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in interpreting and applying company policies.
• Demonstrated experience in retail, preferably in a management role.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
