Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers during their visit.
• Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in inventory management activities and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize financial discrepancies.
• Follow company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to qualify for this position.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately.
• Ability to use equipment such as hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers safely.
• Capable of meeting company cleaning standards and following procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adept at working independently and collaboratively.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and can multi-task efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in retail is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
