Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively within the team and to store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling procedures
• Adhere to company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties to standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to follow instructions, and multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
