Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will uphold our commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational concerns.
- Participate in store inventory procedures and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain document confidentiality, and uphold security measures.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Competency in general cleaning tasks and adherence to company standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge will be considered.
