Job Description
We are looking to hire a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Follow company procedures, ensure document security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Interpret and apply company policies with excellent communication skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is desirable, but a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
