Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters to enhance store performance.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies with a focus on security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness and adherence to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Meet state and local requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and relevant experience is welcome.
