Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our store operates efficiently and provides exceptional customer service. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining a clean store environment, you will be an essential part of the ALDI team.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures
- Comply with all company policies maintaining security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcohol
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
