Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers. You will play a vital role in collaborating with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Communicate with team members and report to store management.
• Contribute feedback on products and inventory to improve overall store performance.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company guidelines and maintain document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
• Skilled in using various equipment and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Meet state requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
