Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping environment for our customers. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and potential issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Skills in operating equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Capable of meeting state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
