Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a Full-Time Store Associate working 32-40 hours per week. As a Store Associate, you'll play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, processing customer transactions, and providing top-notch customer service. You'll collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure a smooth shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies.
- Follow established security and confidentiality protocols.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately.
- Ability to safely use store equipment.
- Capable of maintaining store cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and able to multitask.
- Meet local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
