Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customers receive excellent service, and the store maintains a clean and welcoming environment. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to enhance the customer shopping experience and contribute to the store's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts according to guidelines and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Meet any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
