Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly and customers receive exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages as per state and local regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
