Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
• Meet local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
• Prior experience in retail is preferred
