Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, product stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will contribute to an exceptional customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to maintain store security.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while protecting confidential information.
- Perform additional assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to handle and use various tools and equipment effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Organizational skills, ability to follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is an advantage.
- Combined education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
