Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) on a consistent basis.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and neatly organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, and liaise effectively with team members and management.
- Provide valuable feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to enhance store performance.
- Participate in inventory management activities as per guidelines and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to cash handling policies, company regulations, and ensure document security.
- Perform physical tasks including stocking shelves, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general store maintenance.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job and handle alcoholic beverages per regulations.
- Prior experience in retail settings is preferred.
