Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you'll play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment.
- Skilled in general cleaning and maintaining company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and in a team setting.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
