Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional service and uphold company standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and general store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining document security.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capacity to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask professionally.
- Compliance with state and local regulations regarding alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
