Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) on a consistent basis.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers during their store experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store managers.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to prevent losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of meeting company's cleaning standards and following policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcohol.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to the role's demands.
