Job Description
We are looking for a reliable Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store appearance to provide an excellent shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to enhance store performance.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Comply with company policies, uphold data security, and follow established procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of following cleaning standards and company policies.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Work well independently and in a team setting.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and relevant experience.
