Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, merchandise is stocked, and customers receive exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, cleaning, stocking shelves, and collaborating with team members to create a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages as per state and local regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
