Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in all aspects of the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality.
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
