Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure organized merchandise displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow established policies while safeguarding document security and data confidentiality.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately.
- Competent in using equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Capable of meeting cleaning standards and adhering to policies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detailed, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Ability to meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
