Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining store operations and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to improve store performance.
• Participate in regular store inventory counts according to guidelines for accuracy.
• Follow cash policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures and security measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the store management team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to maintain store cleanliness according to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for the handling and sale of alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
