Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is always well-maintained. You will have the opportunity to enhance the customer shopping experience by delivering exceptional customer service as part of a collaborative ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow all established company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Safely operate equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
• Maintain cleanliness standards per company guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Fulfill any state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to provide necessary knowledge.
