Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your exceptional customer service skills and team collaboration will contribute to an extraordinary shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. competencies consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and follow established procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform cleaning tasks as per company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
- A blend of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge.
