Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team, demonstrate exceptional customer service, and contribute to the efficient operation of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases and maintain clean and organized merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Participate in inventory management and ensure accuracy in inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
