Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Comply with established company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and equipment.
• Knowledge of retail cleaning standards and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
