Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized and provides exceptional customer service. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a commitment to the company values and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and arrange product displays effectively.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs and inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate efficiently with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
• Participate in inventory procedures and uphold cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies, maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to be considered.
• Proficient in delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to use equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Capable of following cleaning standards and company procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team setting.
• Meet the necessary requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge.
