Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the customer shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, follow procedures, and uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain company standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently and within a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
