Job Description
We are looking for a diligent Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Successful candidates will collaborate with the Aldi team, demonstrate exceptional customer service, and uphold company standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and issues to enhance operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain data security.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
