Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide an excellent shopping experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback to management on product quality, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and adhere to company procedures.
- Comply with all company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent customer service and cash register operation skills.
- Ability to operate store equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
