Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Communicate clearly with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products and inventory to enhance store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Follow company policies while maintaining data security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper handling of equipment.
- Capability to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience considered.
