Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your main responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You'll collaborate with our team and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Handle customer transactions, restock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays
• Deliver top-notch customer service by assisting shoppers during their visits
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory issues, and any concerns to management
• Participate in inventory counts as per guidelines to ensure accuracy
• Follow cash-handling policies to prevent losses
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document confidentiality, and ensure security
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately
• Competent in using equipment like electric/manual hand jack and floor scrubber
• Capable of meeting cleanliness standards and following procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• Fulfill state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
