Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses through compliance with company procedures.
- Follow company policies and procedures, maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
