Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an optimal shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on product quality, inventory, and any service-related issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to company procedures, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Proficiency in general cleaning tasks to meet company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and relevant work experience is accepted.
