Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with team members and management to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the store operates smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficient cash register operation.
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task efficiently.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail work experience is a plus.
