Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. As a vital part of the ALDI team, you will collaborate with your colleagues and demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of your work.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and maintain a clean shopping environment.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays efficiently and neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with their needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to enhance store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Follow company procedures and maintain the security of documents and data.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Experience using various equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Capable of understanding and applying company policies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to work independently and in a team setting.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
