Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) standards.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store areas, and neatly display merchandise.
• Assist customers in their shopping experience, communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and uphold cash policies to minimize errors and losses.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to provide courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
