Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your commitment to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the team will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any related issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Follow company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently and in a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently
• Meet any local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
