Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Maintain cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well independently and in a team environment

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
